Lua Unlocker for WoW 3.3.5a
Nyx lifts the client's Lua protection in memory and gives your scripts what World of Warcraft 3.3.5a never exposed.
What you get
Protected Lua, unlocked. Every protected function callable from your own scripts. It lives in memory and is gone when the game closes.
More than the client tells you. World coordinates, units you have not targeted, line of sight and creature IDs, read straight from the object manager.
A world-space drawing layer. Lines, circles and text where the objects actually are, not pinned to the edge of the screen.
Rotations, if you want them. A scripting framework sits on top, so a rotation is one thing you can build with it rather than the only thing.
Access is by invite. If you have a code, redeem it here.
Before you ask
What is a Lua unlocker?
The 3.3.5a client marks a set of Lua functions as protected - casting, targeting, movement, anything that could drive a character - and lets only Blizzard's own code call them. A Lua unlocker removes that check so your scripts can. Nyx does it in memory, on the running process, and adds what the client's Lua never had: an object manager and a drawing layer.
Which client does it work with?
World of Warcraft 3.3.5a, build 12340 - the Wrath of the Lich King client. The patches and offsets are properties of the client rather than of any server, so Nyx works on any realm running that build.
What does it leave on disk?
Nothing outside its own folder. The folder holding Nyx.exe is the installation: settings, sign-in and plugins live beside it, and nothing is written to AppData or Temp. The one exception is the menu's artwork, which the client can only load from Interface\Nyx inside the game directory; the loader removes it again on request.
Do I have to write rotations?
No. A rotation is one thing the scripting framework can build: a priority list
the engine walks top-down, every entry wrapped in pcall so a failing one is
benched rather than taking the rest with it. Plugins live in External/Plugins,
and /nyx reload re-reads them without restarting the game. The
guide walks
through one.
How do I get access?
By invite. Redeem a code, sign in, download the loader and press Launch: it fetches the engine and starts the game.
